The Wild Psalm Bird is a familiar sight on Philosateleia, particularly in the Wilderness. Enthusiasts most frequently spot the bird near water, although it is also known to fly long distances over land, roosting at night on housetops.
Of the 144 stamps issued, one stamp was destroyed during the production phase. One copy exists in unused condition. 13 more copies are known on cover or on piece, and two first day of use covers were produced. Finally, 11 remainder copies were invalidated with a handstamped smiley face. (Additional examples may exist, but have not been confirmed.)
